Pamper Sunday is back and its back with a BANG, drum roll please …….. Enter Arabica Coffee Body Scrub, made of the finest and most consumed coffee beans in the world. You must be thinking Miriam, you’re going all fancy. I am glad to say I have been introduced to this fine coffee courtesy of Mastertons, These guys done made my month, I mean May is already feeling different and alive !!!!
I don’t know about you guys but there is something about that lively coffee aroma that just relaxes me, I love coffee and although I have been told enough the times that I need to stay away from it and drink less of it, I just cant help myself. Imagine a world with no coffee? 0_O Can you imagine that world because I can’t !!! Anyhow, I was feeling tired this morning, I guess it’s because I didn’t get much sleep yesterday. It must have been the stress from meeting new people.
I went to the Eastern Cape Blogger MeetUp yesterday and I had such great time being around other bloggers. You should have seen me, I was networking, talking shop, making conversation, passing around business cards like a pro. I managed to hide how nervous I was about meeting all of them and how worried I was I wouldn’t be able to make conversation. It was awesome. Anyway the beautiful ladies that organised this shin-dig put goodie bags that had goodies (lol) from a bunch of sponsors and one the sponsors where Mastertons and boy am I glad they decided to come on board – I’ve had the pleasure of tasting and brewing a good cup of coffee this morning and make a relaxing, invigorating body scrub.
A round of applause for these ladies and gentlemen please …….
So I love my Sorbet Body Scrubs but I also enjoy making my own inexpensive sugar scrubs just like the next girl. They are easy to make and you get to choose what goes into the scrub. The authentically hand-roasted coffee beans, sugar, coconut oil and vanilla make this body scrub so luxurious. As I type this blog post whilst already in my PJs’ I am feeling brand new !!!!
A coffee body scrub is great for your skin, the sugar will help exfoliate your skin whilst the coconut oil moisturizes and replenishes. If you’re looking for an easy, inexpensive way to treat yourself after church on a Sunday then recommend trying out one of my favourite DIY body scrub recipes. This body scrub will slough away dead skin and deeply nourish your own skin leaving you with a natural glow.
Although I believe in loving your body I know they might be some of you who hate cellulite and want to get rid of it. Coffee scrubs have been said to aid in getting rid of cellulite.
Coconut Oil/Olive Oil
Pure Vanilla Extract
♥ Melt the coconut oil in the microwave (but make sure it’s not so hot that it melts the sugar when you mix them together).
♥ Mix coconut oil with the coffee, sugar and olive oil.
♥ Add Vanilla and Combine well.
♥ Transfer scrub to an airtight jar
Top Tip | Make this sugar scrub when needed if you don’t use it often. The shelf life is about 4 weeks. Do not use it on your face if you have sensitive skin as the sugar granules could irritate your skin.
