How to Perfect Your Eyebrow Game

Good Evening Guys,

I don’t know about you but I’ve had quite the journey with my eyebrows. Its a shame I couldn’t find any old pictures of me that show my eyebrows, how great would that have been, being that it’s Throw Back Thursday and all!! My mum must have them locked away somewhere, lol.

I always had a monobrow and I still do, in all honesty I am so so grateful for tweezers, blades and wax, without those items I would look, well I would rather not imagine it. I have to say I’ve never been one to tweeze my eyebrows, i’ts just so much pain. Can you believe I’ve never actually had my eyebrows waxed ??

I trim my eyebrows using a brow trimming kit, I hate when my brows aren’t looking good. I actually get in a strop, I am looking forward to try threading. maybe that’s my thing.

Although the market is saturated by brow products I think it is important to choose something that works best for you. Eyebrows shape your face, and I believe it is important that there be perfectly groomed. I know the idea of the millions of  brow kits and products out there can be daunting which is why I though it would be a good idea for me share how I fill in my brows and what I recommend. So whether you shape your eyebrows yourself or not I believe it is important to have tweezers or trimmers that will help you groom your eyebrows instantly or whilst you wait for your next threading appointment.

I am a simpleton when it comes to my eyebrows, I am just so worried i’ll mess them up of I use anything else other than a pencil, I am however planning to do the gel method and share with you all.  A pencil in my opinion is the simplest way to fill in your eyebrows without them looking like they could fly away with you. Just use it to shade in your eyebrows and then finish off by highlighting under them.

If you’re after a really polished look, then dabbing some concealer along your brow bone will help to make the entire area look flawless and it will help conceal any blemishes too.  I use my Black Opal Concealer* and it’s fantastic for this as it also acts a highlight to lift the eye area. However, we must stress that without necessarily hiding blemishes, a delicate touch with the brush helps to show an embracing of these beautiful flaws (if any).

I hope you enjoyed this post. It was something I’ve been meaning to share.
