PAMPER SUNDAY: 5 STEP DIY FACIAL

Happy Sunday,

I love taking care of my skin, in fact I enjoy it. I enjoy reading about skin care, health, beauty, recipes and all that jazz. I hope you all enjoyed my skin care routine post.  One thing I’ve discovered is facials are an important part of maintaining good skin. Regular facials, in addition to a good diet and a skin care routine that works for your skin type, will keep the acne away. Keeping a constant routine, using the right products and regular facials have made a difference for my skin

No make up on, what my routine has done for my skin

I know you probably thinking, Miriam ain’t nobody got time or money to get a facial once a week, well I’m here to tell you today, you don’t have to spend a whole lot of money to take care of your skin. You can do it yourself at home

Today I am going to share with you how to give yourself a facial in just five steps and I am going to share with you all two recipes that I’ve tried and found to be amazing and the great thing is you might already have the ingredients in your house.

Unwinding and taking time to be alone is good for you, not only does a weekly facial allow you to take time for yourself, it nourishes your skin which makes it look better and it adds a bounce to your step the next day, you will feel confident and amazing. it will give you a reason to be excited about Mondays.

Here’s how you can give yourself a facial today,

STEP ONE

CLEAN: I am currently using the honey cleansing method< i will share it with you all soon.  Remove your make up and wash your face, if you’ve spent your day wearing make up you can do the Double Cleansing Method, Carol talks about it in great detail on her blog. You should check it out :-).

STEP TWO

EXFOLIATE: I use Baking Soda or Oat Meal  because they are both gentle exfoliating products for sensitive skin

Oats to scrub my skin, honey, lemon and yogurt for acne prone skin and avocado and honey for the skin

STEP THREE

STEAM: I use green tea and lemon for steaming. Steaming your face helps to open your pores as well as aiding circulation in your face, leaving your skin clean, flushed and glowing
