Happy Hump Day,

About a week ago I convinced my mum to go shopping with me, whenever I am feeling stressed I find shopping (window or otherwise) very relaxing. I went shopping at MAC for a couple of goodies. I’ve been wanting and considering MAC wasn’t on the list of shops I was planning to visit, I have to say it was a day well spent. 

MAC has always been one of those brands I absolutely adore, MAC products are just eclat and I am slowly but surely growing my collection, (student budget problems). I purchased a couple of MAC products that I’ve bee eyeing for quite some time  now and so far I am happy that I did. 

Lets get into it coz as you all know, aint nothing better than a good ol beauty haul. 

One of the MAC Products I’ve been making eyes at is the MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation $40 for 30ml and I have to say I am impressed so far. I will do a proper review of the product soon but First Impression of the product is just great. From the glass packaging (which kind’of scares me coz I am clumsy) to the gold lettering on the bottle. It makes it seem so high end and luxurious. I love it. 

The second product I bought was the MAC Prep + Prime Fix+ Finishing Spray ($25,00 for 100ml) at the MAC store in Harare. From the moment I started watching Shirley B Eniang’s Channel I was just so sold on the prep and prime spray. Its one of her holy grail products and I’ve been meaning to try it out for almost a year now. Fix+ removes that cakey look that sometimes happen when I get too powder-happy, it melts powder and foundation into the skin to give you a natural, slightly airbrushed finish (it breaks down that chalky, flat finish that powder can sometimes create). 

MAC Prep and Prime Skin Refined Zone Treatment Soin for $20  so I took my mum to MAC after we were almost done with our shopping because I was keen on introducing her to their range. When I walked in my face was oily and mind you this was around 10am in the morning, I mean honestly my face has zero respect for me. One of the nice ladies assisting us was kind enough to try this oil-free emulsion that helps conceal visible pores while controlling oil and shine and OMG does it work wonders, my t-zone mattyfied and my face was looking brand new. This has to be the best buy of the day and I will write up a full review soon. 

I had fun shopping with my mum and she enjoyed it too. It was a morning well spent and I couldnt have spent it any other way.
