Meet The BEST Breakfast of All Time: Overnight Oats ❤️❤️

Happy Saturday,

Hope you are all having a blessed weekend.

Making breakfast can be such a daunting task, especially  healthy breakfasts, trust me I understand. The English classic breakfast takes way too much time out of my mornings on busy days. I mean no one has time to be frying bacon and eggs every morning, at least I know I don’t😟

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day but I sometimes end up skipping it because of the effort it takes to make it let alone think about what to make. If you are trying to be healthier or trying to lose weight you need an easy, quick, healthy meal that will get you energized and ready to conquer the world. I’m sure most of us go to bed with the best intentions of waking up early  and enjoying a satisfying breakfast but things don’t always work out that way.

The gods have answered our prayers, I’ve found a breakfast recipe that takes about a minute to make the night before, it’s delicious,  nutritious and it’ll ensure you get one part of the morning right!!!! ☺️

Meet the easiest, healthy breakfast of all time: OVERNIGHT OATS😊😊😊❤️❤️

Now you don’t have to settle for the boring cooked oats everymorning or a plate of the unhealthy cereal you might have in the house. You can enjoy a fibre filled, protein packed, vitamin loaded effortless breakfast and if you have children they will enjoy this too. I hated oats when I was growing up but now that I’ve tasted this delicious recipe, if my mum had known about it she would have probably managed to get me to eat oats as opposed to honey crunchies🙈

Ingredients (basic recipe)

1/2 Cups oats
1/2 Cup milk of your choice (I used coconut milk)
1/2 cup yogurt (Greek or plain)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1/2 tablespoon of honey to taste

Mason jar (easy mix and store)

Directions

Mix all the ingredients together in a jar, stir o shake to mix and refrigerate overnight

The next morning, add fruits of your choice and ENJOY !!!

APPLE PIE

I added a coco, apples, papaya and cinnamon to mine. It tasted so yummy, even my room ate agrees. She’s my food critique, bless her sweet soul. ❤️

ORANGE MAPLE FLAXSEED YUMMINESS

This delicious looking jar has o ranges fro some freshness and you Niall know I love me some strawberries so o couldn’t resist the temptation toad the to the meal too, talk about a vitamin C load !!!! And since I discovered flaxseed  and their many benefits, I just had to add them to the breakfast too.

VERY BERRY COOKIE BUTTER

This was absolutely my favorite one, it has peanut butter, raspberries, cranberries and strawberries. It’s sweet, filling, nutritious, and just mouth watering. I am officially sold on overnight oats!!!

Remember you don’t have to try these recipes only.mhave fun and play around with ingredients if your choice. You can even use a smoothie mix as opposed to plain yogurt and milk to get even better benefits and added flavour

P.S you don’t have to have them cold your can put them in microwave for about 60secomds to get rid of the chill and because they are in a jar you can even take them to work or on the go .

I hope these help you like they have helped me.
