The Dove Purely Pampering Nourishing Body Washes have for the past 2 weeks or so become my go to shower favorites. We all need some me time and for some people its the 5 minutes of quiet time and meditation in the morning. The purely pampering nourishing body washes have given me even more reason to spend extra time in the shower. Extra me time moments for me, yay! The slightest changes in my routine could lead to my skin breaking out. And for that reason, I never sway too far from my skin care products and that’s why it’s taken me so long to try out dove products.
Can you believe these are my first Dove products ever ? It’s shocking, I know. I am so happy I finally took a leap and tried them. If you know me, you know I am an “Oh so heavenly” girl. Routines keep me sane plus they give me something to look forward too everyday. And my routine as been one of the things I look forward too after a long day spent looking at a laptop screen. The purely pampering body washes will help you destress and relax. The scents in these washes envelope you with care. The body wash creates a thick & creamy lather, almost like washing your body with a mixture of soap and a body lotion – it feels both luxurious and very moisturizing. My favorite of the two is the Purely Pampering Coconut Milk With Jasmine Petals Body Wash.
I am all about sweet scents and intoxicating fragrances which make the jasmine and coconut milk body wash, just the product for me. The creamy, floral, clean and decadence of this body wash brings me comfort.
This body wash lathers up so much wants it comes in contact with water. A little really goes a long way. A teaspoon of this will have your skin feeling clean, soft and smooth. The body wash contains lipids that work to restore the skin’s moisture and barrier. I don’t usually use soap on my skin, I’ve aways found skin too drying for the skin. I enjoy getting out of the shower with silky soft skin and the soaps I’ve tried in the past don’t do that for me. The purely pampering beauty cream bar is exactly the opposite. It’s creamy and soft and feels amazing on the skin.
The fragrance is intoxicating (in the best possible way), the jasmine petals give it a soft, clean, floral scent and the coconut milk adds a subtle decadence. The coconut essence is not overpowering at all, it’s a comforting scent that is combined with a beautiful flowery blend – very feminine and fresh.

The difference in these scents makes them perfect for my different moods. Sometimes, clean, feminine and fresh does the job and other times warm and cozy is just the perfect way to end the day. The Purely Pampering Shea Butter With Warm Vanilla Body Wash and cream bar is super-rich in Vitamin A, E, and F, creamy shea butter melts into the skin and wraps the body with a delightful softness and earthy-nutty scents. I think I might have lied, I can’t possibly choose a favorite. Depending on the either of these body washes would be perfect.
I am so glad I finally jumped out of my comfort zone and tried these two body washes. They are agreeing with my skin and they have just made it onto my 2016 favorites list. Which isn’t an easy task because as a lover of all things beauty related and luxurious the waiting list is long. It’s like trying to make it into an Ivy-league school when it comes to making it onto a beauty bloggers yearly favorites skin care list.
